Improve your negotiation skills
A training wants to equip young lawyers involved in a process of amicable settlement or mediation.
A luncheon luncheon about negotiation skills has been hosted by the Young Lawyers Section of the Canadian Bar Association on June 14th.
This training has be presented by the Honorable François Rolland, counsel, mediator and arbitrator at Langlois, and by Serge Pisapia, lawyer, mediator and arbitrator.
“The idea is to give practical tips from people with long experience of negotiation and mediation to young practitioners who litigate or are called to negotiate in all aspects of their practice,” said Pisapia.
The two speakers has offered a presentation of the different alternative methods of conflict resolution and will stress the importance of the preparation of the mediation. They have also discuss the mediation process, negotiation techniques and pitfalls to avoid.
